Q and A
Hopes? Will we get real spice? Or compromise?
Reality? They asked. We went for it. We got it.
First Impressions? A bit short on atmosphere, but spacious.
USP?  That serious spicing, if you say you want it.
The offer in three words? Nice, spice, rice.
Service? Spectaculary hard working single server, wearing a very natty apron.
On tap? Mahou. We went with bottled Kass and Estrella Galicia,
Eat me! Mango salad was a nice tasty kick off. Perhaps we should have held on to it as a palate cleanser. But we were keen. Or greedy, So we went for it. Kimchi Seriously spiced up, a decent bowl of pickled cabbage tickes your taste buds.

Fried Chicken Wings is one of the few dishes we've ever tried which arrives with its own PPE, we forewent the offer of plastic gloves and went in with bare hands. Who wants to suck the fingers of a plastic glove? Don't feel you need to answer that. Excellent - if initially red hot - chicken pieces, absolutely slathered - don't use that word everyday - in chilli ketchup. It's a recommended dish, but gloves or no, some clean-up kit - say, lemon water - would be very welcome.

Rice Cakes  lived up their reputation as, really, the Korean gnocchi equal. A very nice sauce with this dish, which looked a slightly small portion, but in the scheme of things really wasn't,

Stone Pot Chicken We were heading towards full at this point but this undeniably hearty plate of well seasoned fried chicken, potatoes and peppers is delicious. So good we a) stuffed ourselves more than we should have done and b)took what was left home and enjoyed it the next days when the flavours had really oomphed up. One word - that dish needs beer. Seriously.
Friend friendly? Lots of vegetable based dishes and noodles. Should be doable, we think.
Rating for dating? You can negotiate spice levels to suit, So that's one hurdle covered. Lighting and decor don't necessarily suit though. It's more of a dining room than a cosy spot.
Tip? Yep.
Change one thing? I guess that atmosphere issue, really. And that's a detail, not a dealbreaker.
Revisitability? Yep, more things we want to try, so we will return.
Rice cakes in chilli sauce.
