Among various dishes we tried...
Chorizo a al Sidra
Not confusable with traditional chorizo for a moment, this savoury creation deserves a more accurate and maybe marketable name, at least for expectation management and potentially to sell it to everyone who might like it.
Albondigas del Jefe
A highlight for me. A creamy sauce and some nice spicy (and undeniably slightly meaty) flavours going on here. It split the crowd, but I'd have happily had a second helping.
Fingers de Queso
Somewhere between a tequeño and a glamorgan sausage. Nice bit of acidity in that dip. One plate of these is enough for two, but they're tasty and you'll want to multiply or reorder for bigger groups.
Nachos Caseros
Some chewy chilli sin carne plus guacomole. Unusual texture on the nachos, which lost their crunch a more than expected.
Friend friendly? Omnivores, it's time for your five a day. Several times.
Rating for dating? Full of talking points, and spaces that lend themselves to 1-1 conversations. It might be a decent date 2 to introduce someone to something they've not tried before.
Tip? For chatty service and offering to prepare a dessert especially for us, most certainly.
