What's the story?
Go to Kinza. There we are. You can stop reading. But, if you need more...

The dishes are generous, probably authentic (we've not been to the country, but they feel right, for what that might be worth) and the whole experience makes you want to go back.

Happy now? Ok, so you're the demanding reader. Knew there was one. Details...

Satsivi
Officially a starter and priced as such, this is sliced chicken breast in a creamy and very slightly spiced creamy nut sauce. You may well never have thought about that combinatin before, and it's a great start as it's not too strongly flavoured. Arriving with four large and just-baked-tasting bread wedges, it's acuially too much for two to share. It's good for three or even four.

There's not a lot to say here. This is, simply, the best thing that's not pizza that's like pizza on the planet. It's in its own league, though. Be warned. Designed for winter in the Urals, we're talking lots of animal products: cheese, egg and lots of butter, muddled up and scoffed with wonderful fresh bread casing. It may not look massive, but it's plenty big enough and has to be shared. Unmissable.

Ojakhuri
Hearty. That's the word for this. Sometimes you don't need fine dining but a very fine dinner dish. Nice chunks of pork, some well cooked potato. Sliced garlic, fresh coriander and some gravy (jus' don't call it jus) with a touch of spice to it. The fresh tomatoes are left-field weird, but that's what we're here for. Our two other dishes meant I ended up taking  most of this home and turning it into supper two days later. Even the spare Satsivi bread warmed up OK in the microwave.

Napoleon
It's a giant millefeuilles filled with creme patissiere. I don't need to say more than that. It's delicious. And you can crunch on the orange slices too. Excellent and plenty for two to share.

Service is welcoming and warm, ready with explanations as and when needed. The drinks menu offers various Georgian and Spanish wines, and we'd say try a glass of the Georgian to find out how it's nothing like any wine you've tried from Spain. Decor is smart. Neither fussy or minimalist, there are some lamps one of us was starting to covet by the time we left.

Frankly, Kinza's giving a lesson in how to run a restaurant and, ultimately, sell a cuisine. It's left us wanting to go to Georgia!
