What's the story?
Known, in easier and happier times, for having a queue outside the door, when it comes to its signature small plates, does 80 Grados deliver on home delivery?

Spoiler alert; Yes, they do.

The good news is there's about as little plastic as there could be and things look fun. The presentation survived the five minutes on Gabriel's bike pretty well too.

So. time for some tasty treats? Four one-person plates (well three and a shareable one, really) can easily feed one diner. Our choices this time round:

Starting off with proper home delivery eating, some delicious, good quality properly crunchy chicken strips with a very fresh honey and mustard sauce that was almost citrussy in its juiciness and there's a starter for two in the portion size.

A meaty, punchy parmesan and Steak tartare eclair, which sounds like it shouldn't really work but does and looks a treat too. The cheese is creamy and rich. The steak is excellently seasoned. The greenery adds the right freshness,

Delicious Chilli Crab Ravioli which needed to be a bit hotter the curse of home delivery strikes again) to truly be at their best, but were full of flavour, had some authentic spice and came in a terrifically tasty red curry sauce. Added points for a bit of texture from some fresh shaving of herb in there. An excellent dish. Successful fusion ahoy.

Finally for the day a Cantonese Burger. While I'm not too keen on the naming convention, the burger was fresh, the spicing and soy-influenced sauce had some depth to it and it rounded things off very well.

Pop a decent Cary Grant movie on. Open a bottle of Ribera and finish off the evening with a scoop of that rather excellent Haagen Dazs chocolate and salted caramel ice cream and you're done for a home-based taste of stylish dining out in these difficult times.
