What's the story?

We had a terrific pizza lunch delivery this week.
We've had mixed experiences at some of the NAPs in Madrid. You can read about our past visits here https://honeestlymadrid.blogspot.com/search?q=NAP
This time, for our first NAP at home, via Glovo, we were entirely impressed and, allowing one minor qualification, we'd recommend giving this excellent offer a go, pronto.

For €44 or so we ordered the Diavola, a couple of Quattro Stagioni and Quattro Formaggi for four. We were left with empty boxes at the end. Everything was as fresh as it could be and we should note we're a three-minute bike ride from the nearest NAP oven. We're impressed by the proper Italian-style juiciness in the tomato on the first two dishes and, tomato free, the cheese quartet delivered some excellent acidity to cut through all those milk solids.
Diavola balances some strong flavours too - chorizo and red onion in particular. The timing was just right, with softened, sweetened onion coming through. The cheese quotient on the tomato-topped offers was right - not overwhelming. Not a layer in itself but a topping like the other ingredients. Excellent.
So despite some past issues, this time it's a winner and we'll do this again, without question. That minor note? Well, it's nothing to do with NAP as such. It's just life: like all Italian pizza we're not sure how well the heat - and therefore freshness - can be sustained at longer cycle rides away. Proximity is potentially a plus.
